Turbine Kreuzberg Develops Switzerland's Largest B2B Marketplace with Mercanto
New procurement platform connects suppliers and customers across hospitality, hotel, bakery, and care sectors
Berlin/Rothenburg. Software agency Turbine Kreuzberg has developed a B2B procurement platform together with Mercanto, which is now celebrating its market launch. The platform connects suppliers and customers from the hospitality, hotel, bakery, and care sectors in Switzerland. In March 2025, the platform recorded its millionth order. According to the Carpathia ranking, Mercanto is Switzerland's largest B2B platform by revenue (2024).
Mercanto brings together nearly 75,000 products from the food, non-food, and healthcare sectors. Customers benefit from a single login for all suppliers, intelligent shopping lists, and scanner app integration. The platform processes over 400 million customer-specific prices in real time.

Turbine Kreuzberg developed a modular commerce architecture based on Spryker Commerce OS with a headless structure. A custom-built pricing service ensures high-performance processing even during peak loads.
