Senior Business Development Representative

We are looking for a Senior Business Development Representative (all genders) in Berlin / Germany to join our team at the earliest possible date.

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of our company's growth. Your mission: You identify new project opportunities and drive them forward, manage complex sales processes, and actively expand our partner network. The ideal candidate brings a passion for sales, enjoys meeting new people, and has strong strategic thinking skills. You have a deep interest in technical products and services and know how to introduce them to others. With your experience in business development and your network, you will make a significant contribution to the growth and success of Turbine Kreuzberg.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation and Qualification: Identify potential customers through targeted research and the use of sales tools, as well as proactively contacting leads via email, telephone, and social media to generate interest and arrange initial meetings.

  • Trade Fairs and Events: Participate in industry trade fairs and events to represent our company, make new contacts, and generate leads.

  • Partner Network Development and Management: Build and maintain partnerships with technology and solution partners, including the development of joint go-to-market strategies.

  • Market and Competitive Analysis: Observe market trends and identify new business opportunities in our target industries (e.g., B2B Manufacturing, Wholesale).

  • CRM Management: Maintain and update customer data in our CRM system to ensure smooth communication and follow-up.

  • Needs Analysis and Customer Understanding: Analyze the individual challenges and goals of potential customers to offer suitable solutions from our portfolio.

  • RfP and Pitch Processes: Support and conduct tender processes (RfP) as well as prepare and participate in pitches to convince customers of our solutions.

Your Profile

  • Experience: At least 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally in the tech or digitalization industry.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze complex customer requirements and market opportunities and translate them into concrete sales strategies.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English, including negotiation skills.

  • Networking Mindset: Experience in building and maintaining partner networks as well as collaborating with technology and solution partners.

  • Technical Understanding: Deep interest in digital technologies and software architectures. Prior knowledge in areas such as commerce, middleware, or PIM is a plus.

  • Proactivity and Self-Responsibility: Ability to work independently, set priorities, and drive projects forward.

  • Team Player: You enjoy working in a dynamic team and support your colleagues with your commitment.
