Background
Art should be open and affordable to everyone - this has been the vision of the New York based galerist Lumas since 1996. Their editions are being distributed via more than 40 galeries worldwide - and through an online shop which has seen a stark increase in visitor numbers. By use of Spryker the shop was to be developed into a multistore platform which integrates all existing collections.
The task
We were asked to accelerate the implementation of Spryker so that Lumas could launch their platform on schedule in all German-speaking countries.
The solution
We reacted immediately by providing Lumas with a project team of four experts. Three months later, the go-live for the German-speaking area (D/A/CH) happened on schedule thanks to a very partner-like cooperation. Due to a real-time synchronization of all stocks, there is now no more risk of selling one artwork twice.
