Product Owner
We are looking for a Product Owner (all genders) in Berlin / Germany to join our team at the earliest possible date.
As a Product Owner at Turbine Kreuzberg, you become the voice of the client within our agency – and sometimes you understand their needs even better than they do themselves. You'll dive deep into the respective company and industry context, become an expert in system landscapes and components like e-commerce or PIM, and bring structure to complex product development. Your mission: carry the project vision, maximize business value, and turn abstract customer wishes into concrete features. You'll navigate between stakeholder meetings, backlog grooming, and sprint planning – always keeping an eye on time, budget, and the truly important goals.
Your Responsibilities
Product Vision & Strategy: You develop the product vision together with clients and internal teams. In doing so, you define the strategic direction based on market needs and business objectives.
Project Management: You keep track of project progress, budget, and risks. You steer projects from development start to go-live. Depending on the project, you coordinate the further development of applications and support ongoing operations.
Requirements Engineering: You analyze customer requirements in digital commerce, product data, and content management. From these, you specify technical requirements for the implementation of commerce, PIM, and CMS systems.
Backlog Management: You create and maintain the Product Backlog with robust, meaningful user stories. You also conduct sprint planning and backlog refinements.
Stakeholder Management: You serve as the interface between clients, development teams, and internal departments. You facilitate workshops and hold regular alignment meetings.
Scrum/Agile Methods: You participate in all Scrum meetings and define clear acceptance criteria. Additionally, you coordinate user acceptance tests and ensure quality assurance.
Your Profile
Experience & Expertise: You’ve gathered first experience in managing software projects. You're well-versed in working with development teams without needing to code yourself. Bonus points for e-commerce experience. You're familiar with common agile development methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
Analytical Thinking: You enjoy getting to the heart of complex requirements and bringing structure to situations lacking clarity. You like diving into unfamiliar industries and quickly acquiring new domain knowledge.
Project Management Skills: You successfully lead complex projects to completion while developing suitable solutions. Your structured approach and ability to see the big picture set you apart.
Communication Skills: You're able to explain complex technical matters in an understandable way. Whether in client meetings or within the team – you always find the right words.
New Business Development: You think not only technically but also commercially. You have a sense for new business, recognize potential, and help us win new projects.
Language Skills: You communicate fluently in German and English – both spoken and written. International projects are no problem for you.
Check, check, check… wait!
You don't meet all the criteria – or just different ones altogether? Don't let that stop you. We're excited about the opportunity to learn and teach new skills.

About Turbine Kreuzberg
We are Turbine Kreuzberg, a leading technology agency from Berlin. Our technologists develop high-performance software architectures that help companies digitise and automate their core processes. With tailored solutions for commerce, product data, content management and middleware, we increase efficiency in purchasing, sales, production and logistics. As a result, we expand our customers' market position through digital excellence - especially for medium-sized B2B companies in the DACH region.
Your space
The deal: we'll give you room to contribute, you'll fill it. With project or development proposals, with your own initiative, with taking on responsibility. In the past, this has resulted in strategic approaches, code libraries, applications, new processes and our spin-off in Faro, Portugal.
Everyone chooses their own pace here: some love the four-day week, others are completely remote or work from a lonely island. Team hackathons and other events are just as much a part of our collaboration as the daily and project retros. If you use the freedom to fill this space, you can shape your own agency. Agile, flexible and always in favour of the best solution, not egos. Because nothing is better than working together as a team.
Come as you are
We promote diversity and equal opportunities. We welcome applications regardless of gender, age, origin, religion, sexual orientation, or disability. All candidates are evaluated solely based on their qualifications and suitability.
Your talent, our promise
We offer salary for work, knowledge in exchange for curiosity, recognition for success, support when things get tough, and plenty of room for initiative. So, what are you waiting for? Become part of our team.
