Reinvesting in the Community: Turbine Kreuzberg Donates Part of Global 2022 Profits to Local Charities
July 11, 2023
Berlin. Turbine Kreuzberg is donating a part of its earnings to three different projects at its locations in Berlin, Faro (Portugal), and Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan). Turbine Kreuzberg focused on collaboration and participation: The employees were closely involved in the selection process and could suggest donation projects. All employees then voted on how to distribute the donations among the three selected projects. The total donated amount was 50,000 €.
"With our donations, we want to support projects that are close to our team's hearts and have an impact where we are at home."
– Christopher Möhle, Managing Director
The three projects supported were Girls Gearing Up from Berlin, Vita Nativa from Faro, and the First Children's Hospice in Bishkek. Last year, Turbine Kreuzberg had already supported different projects at its locations in the form of a participatory donation campaign.
"With our donations, we want to support projects that are close to our team's hearts and have an impact where we are at home," says Christopher Möhle, Managing Director of Turbine Kreuzberg. "That's why we asked our colleagues. The result is three fantastic projects that deal with topics that particularly move us as a team – from the promotion of young female talent to environmental sustainability and social responsibility. Our contributions will help these organizations to continue their great work.
