Turbine Kreuzberg Boosts Leadership Team

Florian Möller Becomes Managing Director and New Team of Co-CTOs Started

Berlin. The tech agency Turbine Kreuzberg is adding new members to its growing management team. “Turbine Kreuzberg is growing across the board – in all our teams, projects, and technological expertise,” explains Alexander Janthur, founder of Turbine Kreuzberg. “It’s high time our leadership team reflects that fact as well.”

First, Florian Möller is reinforcing the team of Managing Directors. For Florian, this marks the next step in a sweeping journey at Turbine Kreuzberg. Since his beginnings while getting his master’s degree, he has worked as project manager, agile coach, senior consultant, and finally, overseeing the company’s Portugal subsidiary based in Faro. This is a role Florian will continue to fill in addition to his new responsibilities as Managing Director.

“I want to thank all of my colleagues for putting their trust in me. Together, we’re pushing Turbine Kreuzberg to the next level. I’m really excited to shape what that looks like in the coming months and years,” says Florian Möller. Alexander Janthur adds: “We could not be more thrilled to formalize what has been a lived reality at Turbine Kreuzberg for a long time. In our current high-growth phase, Florian brings just the right expertise to the team. He is a skilled leader with a proven track record of scaling our team in Portugal. And he has played a key part in running project operations, especially in some of our most complex software projects.”

New team of Co-CTOs

Turbine Kreuzberg is also expanding its management team with Bernd Alter, Matthias Gronwald and Thomas Kühnel as Co-CTOs. "Leadership has always been a team effort for us, which we accomplish through a broad mix of expertise and skill sets," says Alexander Janthur. "That's why we are strengthening our leadership team with a crew of our most experienced engineers, who together reflect our technological richness. I am immensely proud Bernd, Matthias, and Thomas are joining us in their new roles." This further underscores Turbine Kreuzberg's strong technological focus. In addition to the successful development of transactional platforms, the tech experts from Kreuzberg are further expanding the enterprise applications business. This includes the development of data and process hubs.

Bernd Alter and Matthias Gronwald are part of Turbine Kreuzberg’s founding team. Both colleagues have been part of the company for over fifteen years in key development roles. Most recently, they served as Technical Directors, spearheading software projects and technological development at the agency. Thomas Kühnel initially started as Technical Director at Turbine Kreuzberg in 2017, after working as Senior Developer at Spryker. Most recently, he worked as a Solution Architect at Valantic and returned to Turbine Kreuzberg in May 2022. In addition to broad technological expertise, all three bring a wealth of experience from Turbine Kreuzberg's software projects, for which they were instrumental in driving forward over the years.
