Berlin, February 12, 2019: Digital agency Turbine Kreuzberg is making its expertise in the field of digitalization available to non-profit organizations and is supporting the association Biffy Berlin - Big Friends for Youngsters e.V. in developing a new website. The event, which will take place on February 22, 2019 in the offices of Turbine Kreuzberg, is part of the 'Nachtschicht Berlin' event series and is organized by the network of committed companies and non-profit intermediary organizations (UPJ) in Germany.

For a good cause
Turbine Kreuzberg takes part in the 'Nachtschicht Berlin' for the first time. "The suggestion to participate came from our developers themselves", explains Christopher Möhle, CEO of Turbine Kreuzberg. "As a Berlin company, we have strong ties to the city and want to use our expertise for a good cause. The company also aims to offer its employees sustainable projects that are socially meaningful.

The digital agency will support the non-profit organisation Biffy Berlin - Big Friends for Youngsters e.V., which organizes sponsorships for Berlin children and young people, in the development of a new website: During the eight-hour night shift, Turbine Kreuzberg developers will update the website to the latest technological standards and incorporate additional functions. "We will convert the site from an outdated TYPO3 version to WordPress, thus creating an easy to use, expandable and flexible basis. At the same time, we will implement new, useful features for the association, such as for handling online donations and the mediation of sponsors", explains Christopher Möhle.
