Turbine Kreuzberg Expands Business Consulting: Daniel Scheck Leads Team
October 29, 2026
)
Berlin. Turbine Kreuzberg is expanding its Business Consulting. Daniel Scheck leads the team as Head of Consulting since October 1, 2026, joined by Consulting Managers Dominik Flegel and Matthias Specht. The team develops AI-first strategies, processes, and products together with clients and works in close integration with the engineering teams. As a result, consulting and engineering carry projects from the first strategic questions through to software in productive operation.
AI-first consulting that starts before the code
Technology consulting has been part of Turbine Kreuzberg since the very beginning. What is new is where the consulting starts: with business questions, long before the first line of code is written. Where are the biggest levers for the business? Which processes need to change for the AI era? Which product should emerge from this? The outcome is a strategy and roadmap, working software for testing assumptions early, and a product that grows step by step. Because consulting and development sit in the same team, the team can step in at any point: at the concept stage, with a prototype, or for systems already in operation.
“Many companies align their strategy closely with what their IT landscape allows. We turn that around: From Intent to Code. The business intent determines what the software needs to do. That is why consulting and engineering work as one discipline, from goal to software in operation,” says Fabian Tönnesmann, CEO of Turbine Kreuzberg.

Consulting that thinks as fast as code gets written
Consulting works AI-first, just like development at Turbine Kreuzberg. Agents analyze data and deliver results at a scale that manual work could hardly match. The consultants define the framework and success criteria upfront, and every result is passed on only after their approval.
“A prototype is ready faster than a slide deck is finished. That changes how we consult: we test approaches early on real software, and clients make well-founded decisions before they commit large budgets.” says Daniel Scheck, Head of Consulting at Turbine Kreuzberg. “Even with AI, grasping the business problem and bringing the solution into existing IT landscapes remains hard. That is exactly where Turbine Kreuzberg has more than 25 years of experience. Building consulting on top of that, one that has to prove itself in operation, is exactly what I was looking for.”
The business intent determines what the software needs to do. ‘From Intent to Code’. That is why consulting and engineering work as one discipline, from goal to software in operation.
