Berlin - 29.10.2019 - On behalf of the international wood-based materials producer Swiss Krono Group, the Berlin-based digital agency Turbine Kreuzberg has developed a global platform for presenting its product portfolio. With the unified brand presence, the traditional company is making an important innovation and thus taking an important step towards digital transformation.
Uniform brand presence with global appeal
The new product platform of Swiss Krono presents all product lines of the eight largely independent national companies. The entire product range can be viewed across regional borders and, following standardisation of the product data, will in future be centrally maintained, so that marketing measures for the introduction of new product lines can also be centrally controlled. In this way, the national companies benefit from the synergy effects in data maintenance, while at the same time the umbrella brand Swiss Krono gains greater visibility and radiance.

Flexible B2B platform with B2C-UX
The platform presents the products of Swiss Krono in the three categories Interiors, Flooring and Building Materials and focuses on a user-friendly and informative presentation. The UX design is similar to an online shop and is therefore aimed not only at business but also at end customers. Users can create an account, manage watch lists and request samples. In addition, there is a configurator that allows products to be individually adapted according to format, thickness, decor and color. However, the product platform does not replace the company's traditionally grown sales structures, which are based on an extensive local dealer network. All Swiss Krono distribution partners can be researched and found via the dealer search on the platform.
Successive rollout in all markets
The realisation was preceded by a relaunch of the joint umbrella brand Swiss Krono. The aim was to standardize and merge the product range in order to achieve higher sales, while at the same time taking into account the extensive independence of the national companies and maintaining their room for maneuver. Against this background, Turbine Kreuzberg implemented the brand consolidation online and took over the digital strategic planning, the conception and design of the platform as well as its technological implementation. Since going live, the product platform has been rolled out successively in the eight different markets of the national companies.
